Funk Duets
Pop/Rock Funk Style
Masterclass/Play-Along CD
by Skip Spratt
|
Welcome to this Funk Duets Masterclass and play-along CD for Saxophone Journal. Duet playing remains a great study and teaching aid for many saxophonists. The use of classical and jazz duets has long been a traditional course of study in many teaching studios. Better breathing, phrasing, articulation, dynamics and nuance can all be learned from duet playing. These funk duets offered for play-along here are intended to allow for the same focus on critical listening and technical achievement. Now it’s time to get funky!
