Masterclass CD by The Capital Quartet

This Saxophone Journal Masterclass presents the new saxophone quartet piece by John Anthony Lennon titled Elysian Bridges. The piece was composed in 2011, and premiered at the North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference at Arizona State University in March of 2012. Elysian Bridges was commissioned by the Capitol Quartet with additional assistance from the Margot Music Fund, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of concert music. The Fund raises money for scholarships, educational concerts and projects, and the commissioning of new musical compositions.
