| EWI MASTERCLASS/PLAY-ALONG CD by Andrew Clark ![]() |
| The tracks on this CD should give you a good idea of some possible uses for the EWI or any other MIDI capable wind synthesizer. The focus of this CD is the Akai product line so I have chosen a wide range of sounds from the factory presets, some of my own personal programs and some sounds created by Nyle Steiner as well (you can download Nyle’s patches at http://www.windsynth.org/home.html). The EWI3000m tracks will give you an idea of what types of analog sounds you can use with an EWI. The EWI3030m tracks are digital sounds and closely resemble common musical instruments and even analog synth sounds. The rare VX600 keyboard that I have generates great analog sounds and gives you the option of a small keyboard to use as well. |
